Healthcare career exploration can start at any age. BQLI AHEC hosts programs for middle and high school students who are interested in learning more about a future career in a health profession.
BQLI AHEC also has opportunities for students who are already enrolled in a health careers program.
BQLI AHEC offers a variety of free career exploration programs for middle, high school, and college students, as well as community members and organizations.
Programs can be in person, online, or through utilizing virtual tools, and cover topics from CPR to Narcan training.
BQLI AHEC works with organizations to host educational events that address community health-focused issues and provide healthcare training opportunities on a range of topics.
BQLI AHEC is also participating in the Opioid Prevention Education Project, intending to bring the community together to take meaningful action against the opioid crisis.
